Chicken Parmie or Parma | Classic Chicken Sandwich


Chicken parmigiana is a well-known Italian dish that everyone adores. However, transform that deliciousness into a sandwich? That's right, I'm referring to the Chicken Parmie/Parma Sandwich. This simple sandwich is ideal for lunch or supper, and its crunch factor is off the charts.


  • 1 chicken breast, sliced in half
  • 1/2 panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • mozzarella cheese
  • passata
  • basal
  • garlic
  • flour
  • white bread roll


  1. To make the chicken parm sandwich, you will need to start by slicing the chicken breast into half, cover in some glad wrap on both sides and tenderize your breast to a nice even thickness.
  2. Dip breast in flour, egg wash then panko bread crumbs.
  3. Shallow fry on each side for 5 mins on medium heat
  4. In a separate pan, heat some olive oil on medium heat. Throw in some garlic till aromatic then add passata,basal and salt.
  5. Base the bread in a layer of sauce, add the crunchy chicken breast and another layer of sauce.
  6. Add mozzarella slices and melt it with a flame thrower or nuke it in the microwave for 1 minute.
